Inset baby bath

Stainless steel Baby baths are used in hospitals and clinics, even in doctors rooms but that is rare. The baby bath can be ordered to fit as an inset unit or mounted against a wall with gallows brackets and with two front feet. These baby baths are all made from durable grade 304(18/8) or 304(18/10) stainless steel 1.2mm thick.

The model inset Baby Bath is 915 x 550 mm and is manufactured from grade 304 (18/10) stainless steel 1,2 mm thick with a 150 mm without integral splash back to the rear. The baby baths on a table comes with the integrated splashback to the rear. Unit to be fitted with one piece fabricated semi circular bowl measuring 695 x 385 x 150 mm deep with a 40 mm sink waste outlet.

NOTE the waste is not supplied. The underside of the drainer has vermin proof bitumastic sound deadening applied. The unit is supported with a galvanized backing sheet.

It is recommended that the unit must be fixed 900 mm high from the top of the front apron to the finish floor.  This ensures a comfortable working position.  If gallows brackets and front feet are used, the front feet must be secured  level with anchor bolts  to the floor. (bolts specified elsewhere).

Free standing baby baths

Wall mounted stainless steel baby bath 1500 x 555 mm manufactured from grade 304 (18/10) stainless steel 1,2 mm thick with a 150 mm integral splash back to the rear. The baby bath is fitted with one piece pressed semi circular bowl measuring 695 x 385 x 150 mm deep with a 40 mm waste outlet. The underside of the drainer shall have a vermin proof bitumastic sound deadening supported with a galvanized backing sheet. Unit fxed 900 mm high from the top of the front apron to the finish foor level with anchor bolts (bolts specifed elsewhere).

The baby baths can be ordered in two mounting configurations. Free standing with two stainless steel feet and wall mounted with two gallows brackets to fix the unit to the wall and two stainless steel feet.  The prices indicated are for wall mounted units, since these are the most popular.

Required thermostatic mixer for all baby baths

new born babies are helpless and sensitive to temperature, especially premature babies. For this reason a thermostatic mixing valve is supplied with all baby baths. This is to protect the baby and also protect the baby from accidental human error and negligence. The thermostatic mixing valve will prevent the warm water from reaching temperatures that will harm the baby. It is a highly specialized piece of equipment but a nececity.

Operating Pressures

• Max Static Pressure: 10 Bar (1000 kPa)
• Max Maintained Pressure: 5 Bar (500 kPa)
• Min Maintained Pressure (Gravity System): 0.15 Bar (15 kPa) – 0.15 bar = 1.5 Metre head from cold tank base to outlet.
• For optimum performance supplies should be nominally equal.

Operating Temperatures

• Factory Pre-set (Blend): 215 models: 41°C, 222 models: 44°C (bath fill applications, under ideal installation conditions).
• Optimum Thermostatic Control Range: 35°C to 50°C (achieved with supplies of 15°C cold, 65°C hot and nominally equal pressures).
• Maximum Hot Water Temperature: 70°C*
