The prison toilet is designed to withstand severe vandalism and is also suitable for extreme applications such as in holding cells.

The prison toilet is manufactured from grade 304 (18/10) stainless steel 1.2mm thick. Unit to be manufactured with a pressed flushing rim and integral “P” Trap with a 100 mm outlet pipe and a 60mm back entry inlet pipe to suit a rubber flush inlet sealing bung.

The P-trap is also made from stainless steel and forms an integral part of the toilet

The prison toilet is manufactured with a shroud around the pan to protect the inner pipes from vandalism. This makes the stainless steel toilet highly vandal proof. The prison toilet can be ordered with internal or external flanges for high security installations. The pan can withstand 400 kg as per international standards.

All prison toilets use flush mechanisms that are installed in a duct behind the bathroom facility. This type of installation provides easy access to the flush mechanism without disturbing the inmates. Three models are available and each is installed with a push button with stainless steel sleeve for maximum protection. The three models have the following characteristics:

• Walcro W-106C-SS – No isolating valve low pressure 30 – 600 kPa
• Walcro W-04C-SS – With isolating valve low pressure 30 – 600 kPa
• Walcro W-103C-SS – No isolating valve high pressure 100 – 600 kPa

It is recommended to use the 104 model with the isolating valve in order to ease maintenance. With the isolating valve the main shutoff valve does not have to be turned off. If a convenient shutoff valve is installed per floor, the 106 toilet duct flush.

The prison toilet and back to wall toilet pan can be used with the plastic duct cistern. This is perfect when there is only borehole water or low pressure water supply. The cistern comes complete with lid, fittings, push button mechanism and duct flush pipe to connect to the toilet with extended inlet and outlet pipes.
